Humanitas is an independent residential care centre in the Keizerslanden area of Deventer for older people who need support in the areas of housing, welfare and care.
At Humanitas, there are six residential students living among the elderly residents. The residential students are jointly responsible for a good living environment and are free to come and go as they please. They ensure that they are "good neighbours" to the residents for at least 30 hours a month. Some accommodation fees can be waived for these volunteers.

My reflection:
This is a project that allows young people living in the same community to accompany and care for older people in order to qualify for free housing, and this person provided me with the inspiration to increase the benefits of having young people care for, accompany and help older people, and to act as an incentive for young people to participate.
