I used the thick wire wrapped in white wool that held the boat in the previous installation, and also used elements of the thread that symbolize control to add relevance to the whole piece. At the same time, the use of thick wire gives the whole book a more three-dimensional feel.
A small experiment.
Making process:
First cut out a 10cm x 3mm rectangular cut-out in the middle of each sheet.
Then sandwich the stiffened wire in the middle of each page.
Then thread the red wire through the two short sides of the rectangular cut-out, around the wire and out again, pulling it tight. Repeat on each page.
Finally, secure the wire to the ends of the back cover.
